On the 3.8 liter look on the passenger side of the engine back by the fire wall. You will need a flashlight as it is tucked under there a ways but you will see it.

2000 Buick LeSabre power steering dip stick. Where is it?

The power steering fluid level is indicated by marks on a fluid level indicator. The fluid level indicator is located on the fluid reservoir cap. Inspect the fluid level when the engine compartment is cool. Ensure that the fluid level is at the FULL COLD mark. When the engine compartment is hot, ensure that the fluid level is at the HOT mark.

Located on back side of engine below the alternator

Where do you add or check power steering fluid on a 97 lesabre?

Look for the belts, There should be a device with a large pulley wheel, and an Oil fill cap (also dipstick). That will be the Power steering pump and the fill location.

Where do I add power steering fluid?

The power steering pump is in the front of the engine. You will see the serpentine belt on the pulley and it will look something like htis picture. The pump has a resevoir with a cap on top which is removable and has a dipstick built in to tell you how low you are on fluid.

My 97 LeSaber makes a weird noise everytime I make a sharp turn. Could it be power steering and where do you find the power streering fluid nozzle if it needs it.

Your power steering reservoir should be located on the passenger side of the engine, just remove the cap, there should be a dipstick attached to the cap, you can check the fluid level on there. Hope this helps

1999 Lesabre Custom, weak power steering

first check the fluid but when its low it will make a whining sound so not that likely if you are not hearing anything. the way to check the fluid is to take the cap of the resevoir and it has a dipstick on it. the resevoir is on the power steering pump which on your car i believe is on the belt side of the engine between the engine and the firewall. what is most likely your problem is that your pump is worn out and needs to be changed.

Location of power steering reservoir

This pump sits down below tha alternator. If it does not have a remote resevoir than the resevoir sits on top of the pump. It is a pain to get to.
