There are 3 things in the cold loop; the tps, manafold air pressure sensor, and the cooland temp sensor.

and you should always start with a cap, rotor, wires and plugs.

It doesn't matter what size engine all the pre obII F150 use the same sensors so I swap off a truck that runs well.

hi,
plug the EGR line and see how it acts. better yet put a ball bearing in that line and reconnect it to the EGR and see if it goes away. definate vacuum issue somewhere. tranny modulator, check every line coming off the firewall manifold. the throttle position sensor might need to be replaced. its one of the only moving sensors under there. on my 89 tempo I could adjust my idle, move that idle screw around so it idles up a bit to get it out of that dead area on the TPS. plug wires after that. those notchbacks are getting extremely rare, and with a V8! put it far far away....

Sounds more like an EGR valve and sensor. EGR Valve and sensor control idle.

2000 ford explorer 4.0 x-engine is stalling, missing and lose power while driving

I personally would check the fuel pressure. Then I would go back to the coil. I have seen brand new bad coils out of the box. The symptoms of a loss of power point to this component, especially if the car idles well, but loses power when accelerating. Please do not rate this reply - we all are left to grasp at straws since you have changed pretty much everything. Good Luck. Please post the final fix of the problem.
