HI Yes for my Jeep
I have a 2001 Jeep. There is a long bolt that scews out above the light assy in the frame and then you have to grab both sides of the head light assy and wiggle and pull it out of the little sockets which it sits in. It takes a good pull the first time, put grease on the socket balls before reinstalling.
The newer and older body styles may be different . Cheers Glen

I have removed the entire assembly before and it wasn't very difficult. From memory there are a few screws to undo and then the whole assembly slides out. I found the directions in the manual in the section on replacing headlight globes.
to replace light bulb you will need a phillips screwdriver.
1.remove the outside ring.
2.remove 4 small phillips screws and the whole headlight will come out.
3.unplug the wireing connector and then twist the white nut on the light bulb and replace it. firstname.lastname@example.org
Loom? The 1990 Models were mixed. Before that the whole head light was replaced. In the 2000 year models you need to locate the collar on the back of the head light, turn it counter clockwise and remove the bulb from the headlight assembly. Unplug bulb and replace then reverse the process to install. If you use the little machine that Walmart usually keep near the replacement bulbs in the Automotive section you can get verification of what type you have if your not sure. You will need to know the Year and model of your vehicle.
You have to remove the headlight assembly mounting screws and remove the
headlight assembly. Remove the power cable by squeezing the lock clip
to release the cable, then release the bulb from the headlight assembly.
Reverse process for the new bulb.
first are they HID
if just HALOGEN LIGHTS BULB
jack the vehicle up and remove the tire on the side you are replacing the light
remove the inner fender
you will see a round plug turn and remove then you will see the bulb
replace the bulb and reassemble
now if they are HID LIGHTS OR YOU ARE REPLACING THE WHOLE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLEY
then the whole FRONT BUMPER FACIA HAS TO COME OFF
hope this helps let me know
With the hood open, you will see a long flat flexible plastic cover
running across the front, above the headlights. It is riveted in with
plastic rivets. Hold the outer part of the rivet, and pull up the
center part. Then remove the whole rivet. Remove the plastic cover.
(When you put it back on, insert the outer part in the hole, then press
the center part down into each rivet.)
You will see a sidelamp and headlight assembly. Look down
between the sidelamp and headlight, there should be a black plastic
clip or latch that holds the side lamp to the headlight. (The clip is
down a hole, in the bracket holding the headlight to the body). You
will probably need a long screw drive to get down in the hole to
release the clip. And maybe a flash light to see down the hole. Put
just enough pressure to release the latch, it is plastic, and if you
press to hard it could break. Once released the side lamp will pop
forward a bit. The sidelamp section can be pulled forward. a bit.
However, there is a long plastic part on the Sidelamp Section that
slides into a metal hole in the Fender. It will break if you try to pry
the sidelamp section out sideways.
Next you will see two top-mounted bolts holding the Headlight
Assembly in place which can easily be accessed and removed. Removing
the bolts will loosen the entire headlight assembly.
Some instruction say you can remove the headlight and side
assembly as a unit. Do not do this! If you try to remove the headlight
assembly without detaching the sidelamp you could break either of the
lights or the connection assembly.
The Bulb Assembly twists out of the back of the Headlight
Assembly, and the bulb can then be replaced. Be careful not to touch
the bulb with your hands or with any grease.
Many of the parts are plastic and can break, so do this
carefully and patiently. It sounds a little complicated, but once you
learn how, the whole job only takes about 20 minutes.
For the RH headlight, First remove the top cover of the ECU module just behind the headlight. Then remove the middle section leaving the ECU in place. Both parts are just clipped in so should come out fairly easily. You will then be able to get access the the headlight bulb, release the spring clip at the top (using a mirror helps) and the bulb should come out. For the LH side remove the air filter housing.
Unless you can fit your hand in between the body an the back side of the headlight assembly, you probably are going to have t remove the whole assembly, alot of vehicles now are that way, the whole assembly has to be removed to access the headlight bulb. Hope this helps.
pg 5-43 in your drivers manual tells you how. You just need to remove the 2 hex bolts on top, then grab the whole assembly and pull it at an angle up, and towards the radiator. after you release the assembly you'll see the wire for the headlamp, Disconnect the bulb base from the wireing harness by lifting the plastic tab, remove the black retainer by turning it counterclockwise. Turn the bulb socket for the headlamp counterclockwise to remove. Do everything in reverse to put it back together.
Behind the core support you will find two flat retainers that you oull straight up this will release the whole assembly. After removing you can easily change the bulbs. Reinstalling can sometimes be tricky trying to realign the retainers. Please rate.
