99 caravan 3.3 no abs brakes. I have replaced a bad master cylinder and all 4 rusted brake lines. The ABS brake warning light is not on. The van does not pull to one side.

Something is wrong with your statement
it is a 99 caravan 3.3 no abs , then you are on about abs light pump etc
the abs pump only works when the master cylinder is under pressure and that pressure is suddenly reduced by the sensor reading a locked wheel and a valve is opened to release line pressure to that wheel As soon as that wheel starts to turn, the valve closes
while the wheel is stopped and that valve is open , the abs pump kicks in to maintain line pressure otherwise the brake pedal would go to the floor
master cylinders work through a. abs unit and not because of it so if the master cylinder becomes faulty, the abs pump will not operate until a wheel stops turning as there is no line pressure to stop a wheel turning
the abs light may not be on because there is nothing to operate the system to put it on

Land cruiser 2005 troop carrier brake stopping power is poor

Probably there is a leak in the hydraulic brake line hoses connecting the master and the wheel cylinder hose. Also get the brakes bleeded to remove any air the system. also get the check valve of the brake booster checked and the vacuum hose.

BRAKE PEDAL GETS HARD WHILE BREAKING

brake switch bad, system needs bled, rear brake circuit probably has air in fluid, fluid is no doubt contaminated, nobody addresses this maintainance problem, bleed entire brake system, replace all fluid w/ new. if fluid in the master cylinder is black, seals are bad, some brake systems have a pump as part of master cylinder, these pumps run off fuses , 25amp, etc., check what system you have. is your fluid level correct ? the switch I refer to is @ proportioning valve below master cylinder @ frame, see abs brakes use this valve to prevent skidding, rear brakes must come on first, before front brakes. if valve is not in balance a hard brake pedal occurs, as with low fluid levels. does your brake light come on ? @ dash. have a brake shop bleed your system, if there's a problem they'll find it for you, let them do it, don't wast your time.

Brakes go to the floor after replacing them and the abs light comes on. we are lookin for a tonjng sensor that was bumped

when you say you fitted new brakes do you mean you replaced the brake pads or do you mean opened the fluid system in anyway if you did needs blead if not and only pads were replaced then the pedal needs pumped with you foot and keep pumping until the pedal comes back and do not go on public road until that pedal come back, engine running is better when doing this, you say the tonjng sensor was bumped if your sure it bumped then replace it.adrian,,,,,,,,,

2006 toyota landcruiser brake goes limp, pedal goes soft

Replace your master cylinder. It is leaking out of the back of the master cylinder and into the booster. If you unbolt the master and carefully look into the booster, chances are you will see brake fluid. Replace it, bleed the entire system, and enjoy your truck again.

Brake pedal goes too far to the floor on initial application, pumping brings the pedal up, bled several times

Sounds like an internal leak in the master cylinder, an external brake fluid leak (such as a leaking brake line), or extreme misadjustment or binding of the calipers or drums. Any could be the case, and you can eliminate the last 2 rather easily. Do you see any sign of fluid coming from any of the brake lines? If not, move to adjustments. Check the calipers for bound up caliper pins and if equiped with rear drum brakes, the adjustment and condition of the rear shoes. After that, go right for the throat and replace the master cylinder. Be sure to bench bleed it before you install it, and if you have ABS, make sure you also bleed the ABS system, OR if you can't bleed the ABS system have the new master cylinder ready to install, and remove the brake lines as quickly as possible from the old master and have a friend hold thier fingers over the ends of the lines. I do this quite a bit at my shop, and it's VERY rare that I actualy need to bleed the ABS after replacing a master cylinder if little to no air gets in the brake lines.

2000 saab 9-3 brakes are dragging after vehicle warms up; replaced the master cylinder as the old one was difficult to push in / actuate during bench bleeding and wouldn't retract easily; however brakes...

Most likely the free play required between the brake pedal and the debooster you replaced.
If all 4 brakes drag,
it can not be anything else, ensure the brake deboost has clearance, between the master cylinder. not partly acitivated already and pushed the master cylinder in slightly. Always look what you did previously and when the problem occurred. Brake pedal to debooster, or debooster to master cylinder both must have some clearance.

Can i swap the Brake master cylinder over without "reprogramming"

honestly sound more like the abs unit, it is the alloy box that the brake lines go into from your master cylinder, this will cause directional braking and awkward braking and DANGEROUS braking, it is more than likely the abs junction box and no the computer will not need program, just disconnect battery for 15 mins while doing the work. hope this has been helpfull
