Question about 2002 Chevrolet Malibu
There is a high side pressure switch on you AC system. It sounds like the system has too much freon in it and the switch is cutting out to avoid damaging your system.Try letting some gas out of the system and see if this makes any difference,you may have to do this a few times.Failing this you will have to take it in to a place that works on ac systems and get their input.Good Luck
