Question about 1999 Volkswagen Beetle
Can you please inform how good this year of volkswagon is? Any major problems to be concerned about? Reliability? Etc.?
VWs are generally sound cars. One thing don't let anyone other than the dealer touch your car. Today problems come from untrained repair techs. There are a lot of cars on the market today. Not all techs can keep up with all of them. Just have your car serviced as the manual tells you to. It will last you a long time. One item you will need serviced is the timing belt. Please have this done by the dealer only.
