Coolant would generally refer to the additive that helps the water in the radiator to cool down your engine (it also pertains to the antifreeze). Often there would be a white plastic container with a plastic hose that leads to the top of the radiator below the radiator cap. This container is the reservoir or overflow tank. The coolant would then be the liquid inside (normally red for Toyota).

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

How to change differential oil in an 89 toyota corolla FX-25, 5 door hatchback

Hi Mathew, The 89 Corolla usually has front wheel drive and a combined gearbox and differential. If the box is a manual it uses a 65 w 70 HP oil. If it is automatic it uses ATF in the gearbox which is usually also combined, but some have separate diffs and use the 65 w 70 in the diff section. Regards John

would need head under the bonnet to be sure and a play with my dirty greasy hands but i wouls suspect that you have a faulty steeper motor ,its a electric motor that allows more air into the inlet manifold to maintain the idle ,it may just need a clean thats all .if in doubt ask a local mechanic recomended by a friend to have a look for you

Hii have replaced the bonnet and the grill and the bonnet catch b

Yes but the bonnet was latched by it's strike to the latch attached to your cars radiator support therefore pulling the radiator support out of alignment and the hood/bonnet and strike are in the proper position. The solution is to adjust the bent radiator support to it's latch is in alignment with the strike.
Good luck
