I'm trying to rewire a new CD player into my car, but i have NO idea where the fuse panel is to do so

Did u check the fuses for radio and the amp itself, that's the most common thing when changing a radio or amp with a vehicle with an amp in it

My door speakers or rear panel speakers are not putting out any sound but I got power to the cd player all lights and all come on


if you have a pioneer deck then pioneer tends to mute if there is positive line of the speakers hitting ground

some cars have a radio fuse..which is in the fuse box inside the car...normaly a 10amp (red)...some cars are 7.5 amps (like a browny colour)

check for an accessories fuse . there is normally on to control the radio. and other incidental items in the car.

this happened to me in one of my cars, I bet that if you put the factory radio back in it will work just fine, most of the radios components, are part of systems wiring and used to send signals to ecm to let car start

I have a 4 DR 2002 Tracker. There are two fuse blocks. One is under the driver side instrument panel and the other is in the engine compartment on passenger side. Did you look at both?

Head lights on CD player off


if you cut the wires to install the radio check to see if the wire you used as a ground for the radio turns to hot when you turn on the lights if this happens then the wire ypu used for ground is actually a backlight wire and you will need to find a new ground. please rate if this helps
