When your front brake pads wear down to minimum pad thickness a metal tab scrapes against the brake rotor signalling you to service your brakes because there is very little brake material left. this may be the sound you hear.

2003 Chevy Silverado is making a clunking noise, on and off sometime over bumps. Also a deep grinding type noise in the same location while driving not constant

Hello Karla,

It sounds like you may have a bearing or CV joint going out. Your vehicle will need to be jacked up and inspected. It may be more than one problem too. Its possible the dragging noise could be something between brake pads and rotor, but the grinding that comes and goes in reference to direction sounds like a bearing or joint. I would take it to a professional right away and ask for an estimate only, and then get other estimates from other shops as well. Good luck to you.

Front right turn dragging/grinding noise

Possibly a broken wheel bearing. Have a mechanic check it out.

When driving you can hear a squeakying sound and it sounds like the bottom is going to fall is that the brakes or something else

it may be the brake wear indicater that is making the noise. if the noise happens when you don't apply the brakes it may be your power steering or one of the other devices driven by the serpentine belt

Why does my 1996 nissan pathfinders pull to the right when I take my foot off the gas pedal when it is in two wheel drive but not in four wheel

My first thought would be that you have a brake that is sticking, or dragging, or not fully releasing (on the right, front side). In 2-WD it creates a drag on the right side that causes the vehicle to pull to the right.

In 4wd, the front wheels & all 4 wheels are effectively driven at the same speed, so it compensates for the dragging brake.

I'd start there, and also inspect the cv joints and front drive system to see if there is something out of kilter.

I'd consider front end alignment issues, but does not really sound like that is the issue.

Roaring noise from Rear Wheel when braking and turning

This is just because of the warned out wheel bearings just replace the bearings of the rear wheels to sort out this issue.
