How to reconnect the heater hose from the motor side of the firewall on a 1997 ford thunderbird 4.6 v8

Provided the hose bib for the heater hose is still sticking out of the firewall the hose slips over the bib and then a hose clamp is tightened over the hose. But it's possible that the bib is broken off and then heater core is going to need to be changed

Describe how to change a blower motor in a 1997

one. open pass side door-look under dash area towards right side (may have a plastic cover to take off before you can see under dash) look for big round (about at least 6-10 inches diamator) looking thing may look triangular with three screws at the corners with a big connector going to it. - Unplug the connector by pushing in the little tab first and pulling apart. - remove the three screws- idk exactly what they are- may me phillips head, torx head, or if its a ford prob has a small 7mm or 8mm bolt head- for that you would need a small 1/4 inch ratchet and 1/4 inch drive 7 or 8 mm socket. -Once you remove the screws the blower motor should drop right down. replace with new one and install in reverse order.

Blower motor resistor

The blower motor resistor is located near the blower motor. It is held in place by 2 screws, and has a wire clip connected to it. Very simple fix.

I hope this helps you, and I wish you luck on your repair.

Blower Motor

It's under the dash of the pass. side. You have to remove the dash in layers to remove the heater box. Not too fun of a job. Definitely time consuming.
