Vauxhall vectra 1.6 ecotec

The car has problems when warm with acceleration. When you put your foot down it seems to judder and then pick up then it judders again. It is very bad in first and second gears and seems to happen on and off when at a constant speed in the higher gears. It is very annoying please help.

I have a 2003 vauxhall vectra and on the front bumper there is abit of plastic hanging down.it seems like a clip has fell out and has bent down over time.it looks like its about 2 foot wide and about 4...

yes its a cover to protect the underside of your radiator/intercooler.
It could fall off and cause damage so best to get it fixed. Vauxhall dealers will have the clips better spending a small amount for clips than a big amount for damage.

There isn't a car out there that likes to be put in drive as soon as it is started. Mine especialy. I give it at least 30 seconds to warm while I am adjusting evrything and away I go. Runs like a champ. Let it warm up for a couple of minutes from a cold start.

Change the MAS mass air sensor they get clogged and can cause the symptoms you are describing a clogged sensor prevents the engine breathing properly causing a loss of power and an increase in fuel consumption replace it

Vauxhall vectra problem

Only way to check out the problem for sure is to drop the gearbox out and examine the clutch. Having gone this far in to the internal workings. It would make best sense to replace the clutch and pressure plates. Oil leaks can be repaired at the same time. No need to go to a main dealer because clutch replacement on a V6 is technically a very similar and no more difficult to replacement on any other Vectra
