Where is horn located on 2003 chevy caviler

Horn(s) are typically located under the hood, behind and near the headlight assembly. It is not uncommon for a horn to stop working over time. It is also not unlikely that horn button in the steering column fails. To verify that the button is working, get the car to a very quiet location. Turn off all radios, blowers, etc. to make the car interior as quiet as possible. When you press the horn button, listen for a "click" noise from under the dashboard. This is the horn relay. If that happens, you know that the button(s) in the steering wheel are ok. If you don't hear the click, then the horn button or the horn relay may be the cause of the horn not working.

No blower on heater/cooler

If you know how to use a digital voltmeter than these instructions will be of help. If you don't know then take the vehicle to a repair shop.

Assuming that you know how to use a meter, Lets start with the horn. Check fuse, if a ok then remove horn from circuit and give it B+ and ground independently if it sounds Horn a ok, problem in clock spring ,or horn contacts are corroded. At this point if car has air bags bring it to a reputable shop. Cause if your not careful doing the electrical testing you can set off air bags and that will be a $1200 dollar mistake.
The rear heater is simple. Make sure the contacts are intact and clean on the glass. If they are then remove the switch bypass it and see if the rear screen heater turns on.(hook up meter to screen grid to check for B+) If it does the culprit was the switch.
Heater blower same principal. Circuit consist of blower, relay ,switch and resistor. First test blower remove contacts from blower and fabricate a B+ line and ground if the blower works then its a -ok.
If it doesn't replace blower. Again to test switch remove it and bypass it. Resistor Ohm out with a volt meter to see if resistance is higher than it should be. Remember at high speed you should have straight battery power going to that blower. If the fan doesn't go on high speed chances are its the switch cause RESISTOR is bypassed at this speed. YOU MAY NOT HAVE TO OHM OUT RESISTOR. GOOD LUCK FILL ME IN ON WHAT HAPPEN.

2002 envoy abs light on and no blower for heater

The ABS light could be many things. I would bring it into a place that has a Tech II scanner that can talk to the ABS module and it will pinpoint where the problem lies. My problem was the contacts under the horn, so I honked the horn 3 times and the light went off. As far as the blower, if you don't have automatic climate control, it may be your blower resistor module on the blower itself, which is a common problem with these.

Horn doesn't work climate control blower on works

the resistor block mounted on the fan assembly ,located under the right dash is open.that will give only a high speed fan.check the fuse for the horn, and apply power directly to the horn and see if it works.you can also put a test light on the horn and see if it lights when the horn switch is depressed.if none of those work, the horn switch in the steering wheel is no good.

My horn went out on my 06 Nissan Murano. I'm

The horn doesn't use a fuse, instead it used a relay which is the large square black box you see in your fuse box. There should be one for your horn, blower motor (the blower that pushes the heat out the vents in your car) and a few other things.

Easiest way to see if it has gone bad is to switch the horn and blower motor relay and then try and use the horn and blower motor. If the horn works and the blower motor doesn't then you have a bad relay. You can go to any auto parts store and they will have them in stock.

1997 transport horn does not sound

There is a relay in the fuse box of the car. The most likely cause of the horn stop working would be a blown relay. Pull the relay for your horn and then the relay for your blower motor (or any other relay not need to start the car) and switch them and test the horn again. If the horn works then you need to go to the local auto parts store and ask them for a new relay for your car.

Try replacing horn, blower always reverts to defrost when there is no vaccum so check your vaccum lines, the hvac line is usually very small and goes through the firewall. sorry I don't understand the last part
