Question about 2000 GMC Jimmy
If the cable broke in the cab you can grip the remains with a pair of vice grips and give it a yank. If the cable is intact then have someone push down on the hood while you pull the release handle. otherwise you will have to work from the front of the truck- it would be great if you had another truck to use as reference
