Question about 2001 Chevrolet Suburban
Take the air intake off the engine and take the idle air control valve off as shown below. Clean out the passages and the throttle bore as well. Put the connector on the valve while it's out of the throttle body and have someone turn the key on while you watch to make sure the valve is working--it should hunt when the key is initially turned on. If not, replace the valve. Note: this test may set your engine light. If you have any questions, please let me know.
