Question about Cadillac DeVille
Your cadillac has a factory security system too and it does n't have to be the add on system. But lets say it is the add on system. remove the under dash covers so you can see the under dash wiring. GM does a nice job of making their wires nice and neatand add on installers make a mess and tape and tie wire their added stuff on. Looking for such mess find the control box. it should have the sound box name on it. pull it down where you can see it and the wires connected to it. look for the GM wires that got cut to connect this device. remove them from the device and connect them as before the device was put in they usally only cut two wires and just add connectionsto others not cutting them this thing will porbly still do some of it's functtions if you just fix the ct wires and leave the rest of ti hooked up. or just unhook it all but make sure theres no GM wires unhooked.
