Question about 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
With the key on and engine off it should read 55-62 psi. When you turn the key on it will power up the fuel pump for about 2 seconds. The pressure should read between 55 to 62 psi.It will usually read in the higher area then go down but it should stay in between these readings and hold for at least 10 minutes. If not make sure you are getting power and ground to the fuel pump.If power and grounds are good then the pump is bad.Let me know if you have any more questions.Good luck.
