Should you add additional water to a 50 50 antifreeze mix ? My son it is ok but now my car is over heating

A 50/50 mix is a ideal. Antifreeze has two benefits when properly mixed. It protects the coolant from freezing down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit and it helps remove heat from the engine. Diluted coolant in the short term is not harmful. Long term it could lead to the accelerated corrosion of vital cooling system components. Anti freeze also offers lubrication to the water pump. Less concentration will equal less lubrication. If your son is adding water than there is a leak. Adding water until the leak is fixed is fine as long as the temps don't get below freezing and the problem is addressed as soon as possible.

How do I replace the waterpump 2000 chrysler concorde engine 2.7. Doe the timeing belt need to be readjusted?

The 2.7 L is a chain driven DOHC engine. No belt. Chain should last the life of the engine.
The 2.7 also has a "bad reputation" for going bad - but this is in almost all cases due to the oil change intervals. Change oil every 5,000 miles and sludge won't build up. Don't change the oil and about 15,000 to 25,000 miles later, <boom> bye bye engine.
Not sure where the water pump is. Never had to replace one yet.

Driving for 5minutes cars runs hot smoking then shuts off I have antifreeze in the car

Could be that the heater core in the dash is leaking ,or you could have a bad hose or something leaking coolant in the engine compartment and steam is getting sucked into the air ducts.

Oil is smoking near dip stick, won't go over 10 mph, now won't even start. It had been overheating for a while we filled it up with anti freeze 50/50 then the oil started smoking. 1996 chrysler concorde.

you did put the antifreeze mix in the radiator and not in the oil cap didnt you?

Sounds like you put the water where the oil goes!

you may have a jammed thermostat if you didnt do this, or badly out of whack ignition timing.

Why overheat engine, when i put radiator liquid ,and how can i fix it

Well It is one of two problems. Either your thermostat is stuck shut not allowing your antifreeze to flow, or your water pump is bad. If your water pump is bad you should be loosing fluid.

I just got a new thermostat, water pump and radiator, yet my car just was overheating. How much antifreeze do i need

U should use a 50/50 mix (water/antifreeze). How long after u start the car does it overheat? I have 2 suspicions, the thermostat was installed backwards, or your cooling fan(s) are not working. When the engine temp goes up, does the cooling fan in engine compartment turn on?
