How do i change the coolant in 2000 dodge intrepid?

Should be a drain plug at the bottom of the radiator, if not you can disconnect the lower rad hose at the radiator. Remove filler cap to allow air in as coolant drains. Catch and dispose of drained coolant as it is sweet and animals will drink it and die

How to take out radiator

remove the mounting bolts on the top of the rad shroud, remove lower rad line and drain into a bucket. remove upper rad line by loosening the hose clamp the using a box wrench remove all other coolant lines running to the rad, you should then be able to lift the rad up and out. Remember to use a rag to plug all of the lines that have been removed.

Looking to flush my radiator and cant find the drain plug

The drain plug is generally near the left hand side of the car. If you can't find it, you could always remove the lower radiator hose. It will send a lot of coolant out in a hurry, but you'd still be able to flush it safely that way. I hope this helps

How do i install a radiator in my 2000 chrysler lhs 3.5

you need to disconnect your ground on your battery, then drain your rad at the bottom where the drain plug is. If not, pull the bottom rad hose and drain it that way. Remove the top rad hose. If the transmission cooler is part of the rad, you need to remove those lines that attach then you need to remove all the mounting bolts and any brackets in the way. You'll then pull it out and install the new one in the reverse order. Make sure to run the vehicle till the engine is very warm once you've filled it with coolant and remove the highest coolant hose you can find to get all the air out of the system, you remove it till it starts to lose coolant then put it back together. Always check your coolant after all this to make sure its at the right level.

Heat comes and goes

This is a common problem with the Taurus. You have an air lock in the system. You need drain the rad and open the cooling system at the highest point. This is usually the upper hose on the heater core.Fill the rad very slowly until the coolant comes out of the upper hose connection. Once done run the car with the hose reconnected and the rad cap off.Put a container under the rad filler.Run the car until it comes up to temp.Slowing top off the rad with the car still running. This should do it.
