1998 Camry Reverse noises

this really sounds like a broken motor mount / trans mount. An easy way to check is have someone sit in the car and shift into reverse, then to neutral, then to drive. Have your "assistant" do this repeatedly with the hood up, parking brake ON and foot FIRMLY applying the brakes while you watch the motor move. if you can see a big difference in "jump" between reverse and drive, that is a bad mount. The motor will lift or "jump" higher on the broken mount side. if your really not sure then try a gentle power brake in each direction.

have you checked the fuel filter for restrictions. if its plugged up, engine will not get enough fuel to keep it running properly.

2007 ford f350 keeps cutting off when in drive or reverse

That is a pretty "wide open" problem. Many things can cause an engine to stall. I would recommend FIRST checking for fault codes in your onboard computer system. If there are no codes present, then I would check the OBD readiness monitors to see if they are all completed. If they are not completed, this could be an indication that the computer is losing battery power.

While backing up I lose power steering

could be your transmission mount is broken, when you put your engine in reverse.. with out giving it gas does the power steering work? More than likely when you are giving it gas you are apply torque to the engine and it is moving so much that you are twisting the drive axles and putting pressure on your front suspension. open the Hood and set you remergency brake and have someone put the car in reverse,,, if the engine moves significantly then that is your problem.. you will need to replace all three mounts for the engine and transmission.

Car stalls when put in 'drive'

Check your air horn (big rubber boot) to the throttle body. It may have a crack on the underside and when you put it in drive and the engine torques to that side the crack opens and causes it to die.

It sounds like you may have lost your water pump or your thermostate may have gone bad too. Regardless if your going to change your water pump your going to have to change the thermosate too.
As for the transmission it could be your spider gears , there weak in the 700R4 and other you lose your reverse first with had lurchs when put in to drive. Sorry for the bad news, good luck
