Outside temperature sensor

The outside air temperature indicator's displayed temperature can be recalibrated. Press and hold the reset select button for 10 seconds . While you continue to hold the button, the display will scroll through temperature settings from +3 to -3. When the desired correction value appears on the display, release the button, and the recalibrated outside air temperature will be displayed. Each time a desired correction value is entered, it replaces the previous value. Give that a try mmkayyy:)

2005 Audi A4 temperature reading is way low and it's causing the heat to come on when it's hot outside.

You need to change the outside air temperature sensor. A good diagnostic machine should be able to give the reading to make sure. The sensor is normally located in the drivers side door mirror or behind the front bumper.

Heater is not blowing hot air. Car temperature is normal.

You likely have a bad blend door. In which case, this site may be of help.

It could also be a plugged heater core.

My 2005 Sante Fe hesitates and won't get up to speed whenever it is damp or rainy outside. What causes this? Thanks

It could be your MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor. Do you have any SEL {Service Engine) light coming on?

A mass air flow sensor is used to find out the mass of air entering a fuel-injected internal combustion engine. The air mass information is necessary for the engine control unit (ECU) to balance and deliver the correct fuel mass to the engine. Air changes its density as it expands and contracts with temperature and pressure. In automotive applications, air density varies with the ambient temperature, altitude and use of a turbocharger and this is an ideal application for a mass sensor. (See stoichiometry and ideal gas law.)
There are two common types of mass airflow sensors in usage on automotive engines. These are the vane meter and the hot wire. Neither design employs technology that measures air mass directly. However, with an additional sensor or two, the engine's air mass flow rate can be accurately determined.
Both approaches are used almost exclusively on electronic fuel injection (EFI) engines. Both sensor designs output a 0.0- 5.0 volt or a pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal that is proportional to the air mass flow rate, and both sensors have an intake air temperature (IAT) sensor incorporated into their housings.
When a MAF is used in conjunction with an oxygen sensor, the engine's air/fuel ratio can be controlled very accurately. The MAF sensor provides the open-loop predicted air flow information (the measured air flow) to the ECU, and the oxygen sensor provides closed-loop feedback in order to make minor corrections to the predicted air mass.

AC not working in 2007 Passat. Was told the compressor is good ad plenty of refrigerant but blows only hot air. One day it was good the next day it was not. Shawn Phipps

I had the same problem with my 2007 passat. The external ait temperature sensor measures the outside air temp and displays this on your dashboard computer. If this sensor is not working properly it can cause your ac to blow hot air. If there is a little snowflake symbol by the air temp on your display that is an indication that this sensor may be bad. Get this sensor replaced and it should fix your problem.

Raditor fan goes right on after 5 secounds after the car is on and wont goes off till the car is off again

Two things can cause this - defective sensor for coolant temperature or defective relay after the sensor, if you have such relay (in some cars adding a relay takes off load from the sensor and it lives much longer btw). If the engine is really overheating, you should see on dashboard.
