How can i reprogram a mercedes slk r170 key fob to my car

Perhaps the batteries in the key fob are flat or low?

It's the switches in the front of the roof and the passenger side A pillar 69/SW1, 69/SW2 and 69/SW3.

If the screw that is on top of the pump is lost what are my options? ... Ebay search: Mercedes SLK 230 320 Convertible Top Hydraulic Cylinder. ... just surprised that the last two orings are almost useless.other than, its worth it.

this sounds like a door switch not switching if you shut the door and left your kyes inside the car the door locks would pop up so you cant look yourself out,,,(but you can?) my money is on a door switch,, give them all a good swilling with WD40 to free them off if this dont fix it then its the car alarm it needs to be reprogramed to the kye fob and also fit a new battery to the kye fob at the same time people often forget how much work the kye fob needs to do and only when it stops working do they change the battery in it,

This symptom almost always points to a lubrication issue. The SLK hardtop is notorious for needing to belubricated every couple of years. Here is a link with directions andphotos:
