The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.

You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam (separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal adjustment screws as well

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.

Where are my headlight adjustment screws on my 2007 nissan altima?

The entire headlight buckets are easily removed from the top of the engine compartment. Nylon clips and or screws hold them in place. Don't mess with the headlight adjusting screws. The whole assembly comes out and the bulbs turn out by twisting them an eighth of a turn. Be careful not to touch the new bulbs with your hands. Dab on a little silicone ignition grease on the contact points before forcing the new bulbs back in the sockets. Use a paper towel to insert them in the sockets. Grease and or oil from your hands will cause the new bulbs to over heat and break.

How do i remove the headlight on a 2004 nissan altima to replace the low beam bulb

If its like my 2001 there's two bolts that U need to remove and the headlight housing looks like it should come out. Then just twist the low beam connector and remove bulb and replace.

Hope this helps

Headlights need to be aimed properly

of course you can...try fixing it during night time in a place that is dark. in a street that is no traffic is the best place. pop the hood and look behind the headlight assembly. you will see two long screws that can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the screw for up and down adjustments and left and right adjustments

Head lights

Open the hood and get a bright flashlight handy (even in daylight) it will make them easier to spot. Look on top of the headlight assembly 1 st for the left/right screw(s) and then straight into the assembly from the front for the left/right scew(s). The adjustments are not always clearly marked but you will usually see a flathead, phillips. or sometimes a torx head adjustment screw. The front adjustments tune the headlights up/down - the top adjust left/right. Good Luck!!! P.S. the best way to adjust them once you have found the screws is to park about 5 feet away from a garage door at night. Begin adjustments against the beams on the door. They should be directed center left/right and slightly downward up/down.
