Hi. Door locks has nothing to do with starting issue. Could you specify clearly what is happening when you attempt to start the car. Is there lick a click sound or engine is roaring when yo start the car.

For about the last week or two, my car door locks just continually unlock, as if someone is pushing the unlock button on the key fob. It does this even when the keys are not it in, and while it's

Sounds like you have button to one of your door locks that is stuck, you remove door lock switches and disconnect 1 at a time to see which one it is. Over time a stuck switch will drain the battery it's sending voltage to all locks constantly, there's a switch tied to ignition switch on some models that locks door when you start the engine and unlocks doors when you shut the engine off, Chev. Suburbans have that

Car won't start, even automatic locks don't work

sounds like you need to replace your battery. If you havent tried to either charge the battery or have someone jump start your car and then let it run for awhile to charge up your battery. If you have done all those and things are still not working its time to replace. If your battery is about 4-5 years old or older then you need to replace battery. Hope this helps...Rick

I need help! My battery went dead last week as my td5 has been parked up for a while, I removed the battery and charged it up then refitted it now I have issues with arm and starting process?.. When press...

Try disconnecting the battery, both terminals, then hold both terminals together to re-boot all ECU / central locking control units. If everything goes back to normal, great, if not the C/L control box is in the roof lining by the sunroof, VERY common to get water ingress. You can try cleaning up using IPA170 Isoprpanol Alcohol spray or replacing unit.
As for the ignition it sounds like the barrel is on it's way out.

Security light blinks car won't start disconnected the battery used a different key still won't start

need to reprogram the security system. turn the key to start position then to run . let the key stay on until the light stops flashing. repeat these steps 3 times then the car should start if there is not a problem with the pass-lock sensor in the ignition switch or the BCM( body control module).

The battery died on my 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo and after the first time I jumped it and drove it around a little to try and charge the battery, the Security light came on. After I parked it and turned it...

Im pretty knowledgable in the whole SECURITY light issue... I dont think this could cause the door lock to not work correctly, but anything is possible. Newer cars are wound up pretty tight. Here is a link to help understand how the security works.

I'd go ahead and do a "security relearn" on you car. It might help if that is what caused the door issue.
Turn the key forward 2 clicks till right before it would normally start, leave like that for 10 minutes. ( no less ) Turn back your key to regular position and check the door lock. May have to do this process 3x

2002 FORD EXPLORER DOOR LOCK SHORT DRAINING BATTERY

I just spoke to ford(cause I have the same exact problem), and they told me it's sounds as if the door power lock acuator is going bad. You can buy the part for around $110(plus tax) at autozone, and have someone replace the defective one. Or, go to a ford dealership and they will replace it for some where around $249 hope this helps.
