Why is there oil in my radiator?

Possible head gasket but it would still run but overheat lots of smoke from exhaust or you have a leak from transmission or oil lines in radiator. If too much sludge is running in your engine jackets, may be seizing engine. Those are worse case scenarios. But always start with obvious protocol why it is not starting. Spark, charge, fuel, oxygen. You may have a simple fix with old contaminated antifreeze. Antifreeze needs to be replaced every two years.

Engine wont fire after over heating n freezing up over nite did fire after thawing out with no leaks

I am thinking that the coolant froze in the block and now you have major problems in the engine . Have a compression test done to check for head gasket and cracks

My lifter are loose or need changing

put some diesel in the oil about a half a pint ,3 sec squirt of fairy and then run engine for a couple of days normal use ,then drain oil and use the cheapest diesel oil you can buy ,after a month change the oil and filter and your hydraulic tappets should be nice and quiet, then make sure you change oil every 6000miles and a oil filter every third oil change and no silly long life semi this or that oil ,just the cheapest 20/50 diesel engine oil .
