best advice is to buy a newer car with a manual gearbox ,or if you can afford it a nice new peugeot 3008 diesel /electric car ,just think of how much you will save on fuel bills ,i want one but cannot afford it or would get one and cover the roof in solar panels then the arabs can drink their oil
it is inside the gas tank, like about everything made since 1991. you have to remove the tank, kind of a messy and complicated task, plus all the mounting hardware is rusted tight and will break off in your hands. get a repair manual on eBay for about 5 bucks, read it and think about it before you start tearing things out.
the car is worth about 500 bucks, a new pump is about half that much. you might want to think about buying a 99 saturn with lower mileage instead of fixing that one. i had 4 of them and in my humble opinion the best saturn ever was a 99 stick wagon. i am sure the sedan was just as good and there are many out there.
The firing order is 1342. Be sure you have the wires on the distributor cap correctly and that the wire are on the correct spark plugs. #1 cylinder is on the right side of the vehicle. It would be on your left if standing in front of the car.
The abs sensors are very easy to replace. If you do not replace them your abs system will not work properly and may not assist you in stopping in a timely manner. If you buy them and do it yourself the parts cost approx $70.00 a piece. If you need any further assistance feel free to email me at email@example.com
State side it would be a 2.0 ltr. Best thing to do is take down the VIN number and call the dealer. They can look it up and tell you what the manufacturer installed. If you need a service manual, let know.
Check the cam and see if it has a grove worn in it if so the seal wont work unless you remove the spring from the seal and find the join untist it to seperate it the cut a couple of mm off the replace it to the seal

I am disappointed. Your website is misleading because it does not provide what it promise; free advice. It will be nicer if you will just tell the people you provide advice for a fee up front. 1997 nubira wagon high revs at idle. We disconnected the battery and turned the headlights on to remove any residual stored power then waited for 10 to 15 mins. Connect the battery and turn the ignition on and off 5 times without starting the car now start the car without touching the accelerator pedal. This worked for us as it seems to reset the computer. We have had to do this periodicaly to keep the problem in check. Hope this helps.
