The light indicates a problem with your air bags. Do not attempt to do any repairs to the system yourself. Take it to the Ford dealer or a qualified service center.

I have two issues: 1. AIRBAG alarm is on. I see

You can try stop leak, but there is a HUGE chance it won't work. Your best bet is to get a repair manual and learn how to replace the seals. As for as the airbag goes, do you know why the light is on? Why are you trying to disconnect the wire?

Airbag

Yes, the airbag/restraint light is often triggered by a disconnected seat belt safety plug located under the driver's seat. Some people disconnect this plug so the vehicle will not chime the alarm while the seat belt is disconnected.

I'm getting an audible alarm from my instrument cluster as the air bag light doesn't light up with the rest of my instrument lights when i turned the key to on the alarm is 5 beeps appox. 5 times is there...

Replace the airbag lamp in the cluster, and get the LFC ( Light Flash Code ) to figure out what the problem is with the SRS.
The 5x5 beeping is an indication that there is a SRS problem waiting and the airbag light cannot give the LFC. Page 105 in the owners manual.

Once you replace the airbag light, you will get a LFC that is a 2 digit number presented by the flashes.
Example is a LFC of 42, the airbag light would flash 4 times, pause flash 2 times pause and repeat.

Once you have the LFC, either start a new problem, or add a comment to this problem with the number for further diagnoses.

The passenger airbag alarm keeps beeping and we just tried to start the car. It has been sitting for about three weeks. The battery was dead and all of the lights came on. We hooked it up to the battery...

usually passenger air bag can be turned off with a switch just inside the door on the side of the dash, but will probably need resetting on an obd11, other than that a cable under the passenger seat is faulty

I have a 1996 k1500. How do you reset the air bag light?

If the light is on there is a problem. You need to have the codes read and diagnose as required. When the problem is fixed the light can be turned off with the scanner.
I hope this helps.
Thank You,
Roy

I have renoult Megan 2000 , serv & airbag alarm appeare

Remove the negative battery cable, wait 10 minutes, reattach the cable, this will hopefully reset the computer and the lights will go out.

Airbag light blinks four times over and over

You may find that resetting the system by removing the negative battery cable briefly will correct the matter. Be sure you have radio codes and can reset any alarm systems and reset the clock.

More likely there is a circuit or sensor fault in which case you'll need to scan the system with a scanner and then check the indicated components prior to replacing them. The scan tools for airbags are proprietary by manufacturer. Your local Ford Dealer or a well equipped independant garage will scan and reset the system for you for a fee. But you can perform the repairs yourslf (wiring, sensors). I do not recommend the removal or installation of the airbags by untrained personnel.

2004 Ford Explorer not starting

Is the engine turning over? When you turn the key to the on position, does it behave normally? IE, do the battery and airbag and other lights come on when you turn the key to on position?
