I have a 1997 Toyota Camry Intrigue and require the 'code' for the radio which won't work after having a battery replaced, I have tried the last 3 vin numbers but hasn't worked?

Contact the manufacturer of the radio if it is not a Toyota radio. If it is, you will have to visit a deale if the VIN digits don't work.

How do I obtain the radio code for my 2001 csi camry

check the owner manual that comes with your vehicle you should be able to get the code somewhere in there or there should be a little color paper note with a code for your radio somewhere in ur owner car guide. Good luck. Otherwise you just need to call the 1800 number in the owner manual and they will give you the code for free.

Dealer should give you code, if you explain it the way you just did.

Toyota radio code

Johnny5486:

Emissionwiz is correct, but, his information is for older Model Camrys.

The 2003 "factory-installed" radios in the Camry product line does not have an anti-theft feature, and, because of having no anti-theft feature, there is no reactivation code. If you have a dead battery, the only thing you will lose regarding the radio functions would be the radio stations that you programmed into the memory. The radio will function properly after a dead battery is replaced with no issues.

Take the car to a dealer and have the service manager look at the radio screen. Should be a no charge fix.
