I have fitted a recon heater/ac unit in my car because my old one packed up, but i cant seem to get the back window heater working nor the heated seats & wind mirrors!! I have checked all the fuses from inside the drivers door panel + under the bonnet & also in the back boot & they are all fine, i have even baught a recon fuse box for under the bonnet, but still cant seem to get these problems fixed? Can you give me any more suggestions please!!!
You need to remove the door panel. there are 2 t-25 screws behind the pull handle (some models do have only one screw) as well as you must remove about 9 push buttons. then the door panel will pull away from the door itself then you can get to the mirror switch
On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle,
arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the
panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want
to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to
get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel
and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and
disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door
