It is probably in a limp mode. Have it scanned in a shop and repaired there. Go to a decent shop, nota cheap one. SOrry

My hona accord is not racing but it starts normal

weak engine power, no engine option stated or even a year.
1975 accord?????? surely id never guess....

so will answer generically (physics)
1: lost 12vdc electrical power to EFI (if not carb))
2: bad need of a tune up, the 60k mile service points listed in oper. guide in the glove box, lost it? ask we have it.
3: lost engine compression, forgot that 60k mile timing belt (boom)
4: lost spark to one cyl. or all.
5: bad fueling, ask for tests, once this far.

all the tests are easy, do you want to guess, or test?

ok , did you connect the check jumper
then crank for 5 seconds
and see the 2 digit error codes blink out?
That is first.
if no codes check for spark
the ECU will tell you ,I have no spark (precurors) from CMP or CKP.
with codes for both. we fix those first. not spark output side

is care tuned up, the 60k mile service points. fresh this decade?

When should i change the timing belt on my kia sorrento 2005 i have 53k miles it runs great.

The recommended replacement interval in 60k miles for normal service, less for severe duty. Its not like the belt is going to fail at exactly 60k miles so if you go over it's ok. Having said that the engine in your Kia is an interference engine. What that means is that if the belt does fail it very likely to be expensive. A rebuild at least and more probably an engine replacement.

In an interference engine when the belt fails there is not enough room between the still moving pistons and the suddenly still valves so the piston destroys the valves and usually itself.

So just play it safe, when you get 60k miles schedule the replacement.

Battery, Brake an 2002 Accord V6 3.0 with 60K miles. Replaced Alternator, drove 25 miles, lights started to come on again. Replaced Battery, lights on again after under 10 miles. FYI these lights come on...

There is more than likely a short in the main plug for the alternator, if this is an aftermarket alternator it may also be at fault, some aftermarket alternator may have problem with the voltage regulator which will cause power to fluctuate and cause lights to come on and off. First check plugs on alternator for short and also check and make sure battery terminal are tighten properly. Good luck and contact if you need more help

Kia Optima 2005, Engine gets over heated in slow speed, but cools down to normal in speed around 40 miles per hour. This is due for 60K miles service. what could be the issue

You have a problem with the rad fan. This could be a fuse, wiring, an so on. Do Not drive this car until this is corrected!! Overheating a car is like a person having a stroke! Some come back, others don't.

Maintenance light is blinking for a while in 2005 honda accord

To reset your light do the following:

1-Push maintence reminder button in and hold it in. (thats the button near the speedo on the insturment cluster)
2-Turn the ignition to the on position while holding button in.
3-Wait several seconds until the light goes out, then let go of the button.
It is now reset

Now this is the maintaince light and not the check engine light correct? If then just follow above and do that.

Also if you don't use Fram oil filters you can go 5000miles on your oil and be safe. Even honda says you can do 7000miles but 5000 gives you a buffer if you need to go over.
