Hello there
if the pump is sticking the best would be to replace it and a fuel filter as well.

Idle fine, then run ok for few minutes, then cant go over 15 mph,new filter, new supply pump, suspect turbo or injector pump

Hi , you probably have water that's went from the tank to the pump. DIESEL PUMP. The worst thing that you can do is let your fuel go way down low and some water is taken in with fuel + water . The fuel pump is a mechanical pump with moving parts and you can't let water in . Certain pumps ,diesel pumps have a latch valve and you don't want water to sit for any length of time in the surrounding wall of the valve as it will rust this may cause the valve to stick then your car may go to rev excessive sometimes high revs , i mean screaming rev's. Please get the pump checked.

Mitsubishi code p1272

Hi there:
DTC P1272 - Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor 1
This code usually arises on Mitsubioshi's due to a sticking fuel pump valve restricting fuel flow.

First try a cleaning job, if this dont solve it, need to check this components.

Good luck.

Fuel Pump 2000 Bravada changed but still not working... help!!!!!!

You check the relay?Make a tool out of the relay take the relay apart collapse it.to make full contact and stick it back in,key does the fuel pump come on?If yes keep it like this for 15 minutes if the vehicle stall, the problem is not the fuel pump, The ECM must see a RPM of 250 or more in order to turn the fuel pump on. If it doesnt see a RPM of a 250 it doesnt even know its running.Okay back to the tool you made,This only trouble shoot the fuel pump system

Where is the fuel pump

Hi Stacy,

I would have to say that you are giving a pretty broad "guess-timate" of the problem. The fuel pump is in the rear of the vehicle in the fuel tank and the fuel injectors are at the opposite end of the vehicle in the engine.
Is is highly unlikely that the fuel injectors are operating with the truck turned off. However, I HAVE seen fuel pump relays stick and cause the fuel pump to continue to run.

Electric fuel pump stills runs when car is turned off

Find the fuel pump relay which might be under the drivers side seat its possible its sticking. Also check the fuel pump reset switch should be located in your trunk sometimes these stick open. Its one of the two and I think its the fuel pump relay. Check both.
