If you don't know how to remove your steering wheel I wonder why you should even be messing around in there.

Anyway, it's your car.

You can purchase what's called a "Steering Wheel Puller" for a few dollars. It is a round metal thing with holes in it. You put bolts through it into where your steerl wheel bolts go.

The other method with the rubber mallet is for experts only.

How do i remove my steering wheel? I took out all the bolts buts its still on there, if anyone knows it would be much appreciated!

After removing the center nut from the shaft that goes through the center of the steering wheel, you will need a steering wheel remover tool (steering wheel puller) most auto parts rent this tool. Also on the steering wheel and the shaft each will have a line mark that both meet, when installing steering wheel bad on, make sure that the marks meet or steering wheel will not be center.Hope this was very helpful.

Remove me Steering wheel bmw 1999 e46 3 series

Disconnect negative battery cable. Locate airbag retentions on back of steering wheel. Unbolt or unclip retention devices, and release airbag. Then: Unplug airbag electrical connector. Remove nut or bolt in center of steering wheel with pneumatic impact wrench if necessary . Using appropriate steering wheel removal tool kit, carefully remove steering wheel, paying attention to associated wires, etc. Unplug anything not accompanying wheel, or that is in the way. Pay close attention to any rods, or contact pieces associated with the horn button(s.) Replace these upon reinstall. Reverse order to install including tightening center bolt to 35-55 ft-lbs. If this is your first stg wheel removal, try an old chevy, preferrably someone else's! If inexperienced, don't risk bruising your favorite Bimmer!!! Hope this helps you make your decision.
