Check the earth wire going from the negative battery cable to the starter motor. If it has 'furr' on it, remove both wires and clean them with a wire brush.

Next, try starting it in gear to make sure the starter is engaging the flywheel, it should lurch forward (after you do the procedure above) If not, the finger of the starter could be damaged, meaning a new starter motor is needed.

Check your battery connections. Disconnect them and clean the posts. If this does nothing then check both your positive and ground wires going to the starter. You are not getting juice for one reason or the other.

Could be a bad starter but first, make sure the battery is fully charged and can pass a load test. If the battery is marginal, just playing the radio may have been enough to cause the problem. Of course, make sure all connections to the battery are clean and secure.

No power to starter car will not start but battery full charge and everthing else works

You should test the starter solenoid by putting the transmission in neutral or park with the hand brake applied, inserting the key and turning it to the run position, then cross the terminals of the starter solenoid using a screwdriver or something similar and taking the necessary precautions due to working with a part which is electrically live.
Good luck!

on the relay there will be a small wire that gets power when you turn the key to the start position
find that wire and connect it to the small terminal of the starter solenoid
then if you get it right , when you turn the key to start, power will get to the starter solenoid , energize the solenoid and the starter will engage

Check the start solenoid, starter side, when you turn the key... The battery side will always be hot, the starter side should be hot when you turn the key.

2002 Dodge Intrepid accessory/starter relay problem?

Accessory position is turning key towards he driver. Ignition on is away 1 and start is away2.
  • Turn on your headlights, do they work? If not, chk batt terminals
  • If they do, try to crank the engine noting what the headlights do. If they go out, Chk the batt ground cable. If they dim, your batt needs a charge. If they dim and then come back bright when you back off the starter, the starter is bad.
  • Chk for loose engine to body ground. That would affect the accessories. Good Luck, _Ned_

Engine won't crank or seem to get power on key turn.

More than likely, your starter has gone out. If the battery is fully charged and its not even turning over, that is what i would start with.
