Usually it's a warped rotor. Take it to a brake shop to be resurfaced. Let me know if you have more questions.

Why would my car shake no matter what rim and tire I use?

you don`t say if you had the wheel/tire balanced. you could have damaged the CV joint on that side causing a binding in the bearing.

Vibration in front end of Chevy Trailblazer 4x4

Does the shake match tire rotation or drive shaft rotation speed? If it's at tire rotation speed, have the new tires been dynamically balanced on a brand name motorized balancer?Re balance them that way.If a wheel weight has come off you will have a shake. You can also rotate the tires from front to back and see if that helps. Also, brake rotors can be out of balance and even with a perfectly balanced tire, the rotor can throw the balance off.

When i drive down the street my steering wheel shakes very bad to the left and the right, then the whole car shakes what can it be? what will make my truck shake like that and what can i do?

Tires could be out of balance. If it is 4 wheel drive you might check to ensure you are not partially engaged or have other mechanical problem. Also try hitting the brakes when it statrs to shake and see if it stops. I would also check the wheel bearings.

WHEEL SHIMMY CAN BE CAUSED BY WORN TIE ROD ENDS,BAD WHEEL BEARINGS,WORN OUT BALL JOINTS,WHEEL OUT OF BALANCE OR FRONT END NEEDS ALIGNMENT.

It recently started shaking hard that my steering wheel is vibrating...what could it be?

sounds like your front end is out of alignment check your tires for wear other than in the middle and take to tire shop to see if the tires are balanced right

My pt cruisier steering wheel shakes go away at 55-60 its annovying

Sounds like you might have a tire out of balance. You might try moving one or both of your front tires to the rear and see if anything changes

My 02 sunfire gt hAS A SHAKE AT 100 KM, IV DONE ALL THE NECESSARY WORK TO IT FROM FRONT END WORK, ALIGNMENT, TIRES ETC, BUT THE SHAKE IS STILL THERE, WHATS UP WITH THAT..

I really need much more information about what has been done or not done to the car but I will go with what you have said.

1. I assume the wheel alignment has been done and is fine and I also assume that the front suspension and steering components are all in acceptable condition.

2. Have the front wheels re-balanced at a competent shop (and at the same time check for any distortion or damage to the front wheel rims). Many vibration problems that kick in in the front end at a specific speed are often due to poor balancing or a tyre/wheel combination that is impossible to balance properly because of defects in the product.

3. If the problem is unchanged have the wheel bearings checked and replaced especially if you have no record of when this was done previously. This is a 2002 car and has presumably done around 80000 miles or more.

4. If you have a cheap brand of tire on the vehicle there could be a heavy spot in the tire which could make it impossible to properly balance.
If you have just replaced the tires and did not have the vibration problem with the old tires then I would suspect the new tires are the problem if everything else is OK.
Buying lower priced tires is never a good move as poor build quality is just one of many problems with such products. Ultimately it is just wasted money.

Also bear in mind that a badly built (but undamaged) alloy wheel will also be impossible to balance properly and these sometimes slip through quality control.
