Are you talking about the HEAT / AC blower motor , that makes that cool air blow on the inside passangers ? Or the fans that draw air through the radiator ?

I hv a chevrolet optra 1.8 2004 model. wen ever i turn on my AC my car gets heated. the temperature goes doen to right side. and it get heated so i hv to stop my car. it onle happens wen i turn on AC. i hv...

Most likely a coolant system Problem. Could be a cooling fan, that is supposed to come on when the ac compressor is turned on, Could be a sensor that controls the fan or wiring. Could just be restricted air flow, dirty radiator, Low coolant, collapsed radiator hose. Thats the most likely causes good luck.

I have a 2004 impala, how do I find the temp sensor? Already changed radiator, pump. The fans won't turn on until I turn on AC. Pls help

You will need a scan tool to read the coolant sensor, or you can just throw away $ by replacing it blindly. It is located by or on the thermostat housing.

2004 Impala ls temperature dash gauge

fans came late on those car, like 212 and second fan comes on at 224,you reprogram it to come a lot sooner,,other thing is there might be gunk inside the block, and coolant has hard time to pass through, and staying longer than enough in block temp goes high, even tough the radiator is doing it's job,it is just coming out block lot hotter than it suppose to be,and gauge read the block not the radiator

When I turn on my AC on my Trailblazer -six cilender 2004- the temperture goes up to Hi within a few minutes. I put in a new Radiator and new fan,but this didnot solve the problem

Did you replace the thermostat and bleed all the air out the system also? The fan clutch needs to be checked to make sure the fan is fully engaged or the engine will overheat.

After my 2004 Rodeo has warmed up, if I idle for more than a minute or 2, I can hear some kind of motor kick in (I assume it is thermostatically controlled) and then the Check Engine light starts blinking....

The humming motor you hear?
Is it the fan on the radiator?
Is the engine temperature hot?
If it is the fan on the radiator I would suspect you have a faulty engine coolant temperature sensor!

My car fan dont turn on when ac is off

Check the operation of the radiator cooling fan circuit:-
1) check fan control temperature sensor is ok,
2) check/replace the cooling fan control relay,
3) check supply fuse for cooling fan is ok.

2000 Maxima Running Hot

Try replaceing the engine fan controller, make sure there are no bugs in the radiator, there is another coolant sensor cost about $22.00 for it the fan control costs $40.00 bucks since you say it's ok when you have AC on my guess is the fan comes on for the ac and keeps it cool. You also may need a new fan motor, non AC side. sometimes the shats slip and the fan slips on the shaft of the motor an causes it not to turn fast enought.

2004 starus coupe fans?

If the motor does not sense it is getting too hot, the fans will not come on. When it reaches a certain temp, they will come on. If you are having problems with over heating, and the fans are not coming on, I would suspect the fan temp sensor, or the PCM.
