You will need a torx wrench to be able to replace your headlights. There is bracket that hold your headlights on. Unscrew the 4 screws (2 on the bottom and 2 on the top) of the bracket and pull the bracket off. Disconnect the wires from the old bulb.
Once you get the new bulb screwed in make sure to check the level located on the bracket is at it's optimal position.

Low beam headlights do not work ..replaced switch and high beam bulb

try the lights with the tilt wheel in the up position. If the low beam works then, a wire has pulled out of the connector on the mutipurpose switch inside the steering column. remove the covers behind the steering wheel on the column and there is a large multi wire plug with many wires. it should be obvious which wire has pulled out or broken.

1997 camaro headlights burn out in 1 month

Check the voltage at the battery engine running. If it is over 14.8 volts get the alternator checked. It may be overcharging and giving the headlamps too much voltage causing them to quickly burn out.

How do i change headlights for 1997 chevy camaro

There is a retaining ring or frame around headlight, remove the three screws and the ring will come off, then headlight will slide out the front. Just unplug connector and reverse process to put it back in. Added note at first glance at screws you will think I can't get there from here, but you can lol.

How to change headlight

If it is a single bulb duel beam headlight (the kind that flip up) - there is a chrome piece that goes around the headlamp with four screws - two top; two bottom - remove the two on the top and pull the chrome piece down and then pull the headlight out - reinstall same way.

ive had 2 camaros and both did this. remove the headlight and take the bulb out of the back of the sealed beam. be careful not to break it as its glued in, but it is possible. just be gentle and patient. replace the bulb with an aftermarket 9006 bulb (hi beams are 9005) and silicone it back into the housing. i haven't had one burn out yet after doing this

97 camaro headlights not working

Pull the head lights or plugs and test to see if you are getting current, if so replace all the headlights

could be as simple as a fuse or maybe the dimmer switch located on the steering column near the brake peddle
