The heads you have would work for that but you need to figure out what all you want to do with your car. heads usually from big trucks like that are not the most high performance heads around. what size valves are in them . in my eyes now i still like the old double hump fuelly heads for street applications. if you can find a set of them around thats what id go for to put on that car but thats just my opinion

I have a chevy 350 4 bolt main with suffix code ce4329 can anyone tell. Me what year, and horespower this engine came with.

I went google and typed in-- 350 chev engine suffix number ce 4329 and found a page chev-camero.com>chevy-camaro
listed is a ceu--1980--350--190 hp
these 4 bolt main blocks were sold here as bedford truck engines ( 5 ton trucks) as they had a slightly longer stroke which gave a better torque rating for heavy loads
They were popular as street engines, because they gave better power bands that could only be got by regrinding the crank to gain more cubic inches( longer stroke ) a 350 engine and adding special head gaskets for the piston protrusion above the block
Along with good cams , the 4 bolt main negated the need for expensive main modification to handle the extra power
anyway go to that site and navigate around and you may find the information you want

Head gasket blown water in number 2 cylinder

Dear David ,maybe you can fix it by some special powders like (WONDER SEAL) but it isn't a logical way for long time . actually for winter because of antifreeze liquids. (they release wonder seal) I always prefer rational and main way with original parts .this is my experience : Don't choose cheaps .they are most expensive .

Aftermarket intake, camshaft and either a good set of heads or port/polish what you have. If you go with a cam, go with more adv. duration and duration and .050. I like running a .525 lift, .230 dur. @ .050 and .292 advertised duration. Get a good set of springs and valves. This cam should get your redline around 6200. If you're using this engine on the street, I prefer the Performer RPM with a 1" spacer. This provides plenty of velocity to the heads. If you can find a set of camel hump heads, casting number 041 you'll love those or have your heads ported. I'd run a Edlebrock 1407 carb. with this set up if you're using it on the street. If you're using this engine for strip duty as well, use a single plane intake like a Victor Jr. Professional Products have a nice selection of single plane intakes for a very low price. I've bought one myself and really liked it.
