Sounds like the blend door for your climate control is not functioning. Does this vehicle have the electric panel for the hvac?

What all can make the heat stop working? Blower works but no Defrost an no heat.just. cold air. Changed thermostat changed lower rad.hose

The controls that let hot water flow through the heater core may not be working or the core is plugged stoping all water from entering. Easy way to test is with the engine up to operating temp, touch both hoses going to the heater. If one is colder than the other, the heater core is not getting enough hot water.

My heater stoped working while driving 2002 cerokee laredo blower works but no heat

Sounds like one of 3 things. It could be low on coolant/anitfreeze, could be the heater control valve not opening to let hot water into the heater core or it could be your heater core is stoped up.

We just bought a 1999 GMC Jimmy and the heater doesn't work. The fan blows but there is no heat. The air conditioner works fine.

Could be that the heater core is disconnected, there are two hoses that attach to the heather core that come out of the engine, this provides hot water to the core thus making the heater work, when the heater core starts leaking water the quick and fast fix would be to bypass the heater core and connect the two hoses together, check under the hood on the left passenger side there should be two hoses about 1" thick see if there are connected together or of they seem to be connected to 2 outlets that come out of the inside of the vehicle. people do that specially if selling vehicle.

1998 Chevy S10 heating problem

Sounds like someone put too much radiator leak **** in it or used well water and stoped up the heater core. Take the hoses off the core and try back flushing it thru the heater core. I have found this to work sometimes....good luck.

No heat

No heat can mean low coolant in the radiator. Check that. Also would mean you have a coolant leak. Might possibly be a restricted heater core. Possibly a blend door in the dash that quit working. Thermostat could be faulty allowing coolant to flow continuously.

Overheating

One of two things. if it is not leaking either it is the heater core or the thermostat. if it is the thermostat you will most likely have no hot air when you turn on the heat. if it is the heater core you MAY smell antifreeze inside your car when you have the heat on.

96 Jeep Country-Heater blowing warm; NOT hot

unless you got visable signs of leakage its not heater core, but it could be pluged with sediment. take off both heater hoses and flush it both ways until it runs clear. you can also mix a little baking soda and water and pour in core and let set for a while and then flush.
