1996 toyota corolla I am replacing the ingnition in my 1996 corolla 1.6 no tilt sedans and I used the pin to get out the old but now the new ones stuck in the on position and it will not come out

I have a 93 toyota corolla .MY problem is the ignition .Sometimes when i turn the key it starts the car sometimes it doesnt star.Please help thank you.

1. Ingnition switch malfunctioning - Replace

Definitely do the timing belt & plugs if not done already! Depending on how the job goes $300-$500. Rear drum brakes on these cars have a tendency to last a VERY long time(I've seen 150,000 miles) because the majority of the braking gets done in the front.

1996 toyota corolla rear drum brake (Australia)


to remove a stuck brake drum what I do is. there is a couple of holes in the drum a size 10mm nut screw hole. get two 10mm bolts screw it in the two OPPOSITE holes and screw in at the same time until the drum is free. we call this screws extractor. Check for any damage in the shoe and other parts because you are force extracting the drum
