Sounds to me that your power brake booster is bad or your portioning valve might not be working correctly there is a button on the portioning valve that can be pressed try that or replace it!

Changed both front (rears are drums and did not change) brake calibers and pads on my 1998 F150 pickup 2 wheel drive. In doing so I let the master cylinder go empty. How do I bleed the brakes now. I have...

your probably going to have to bleed the entire system.1st try & bleed the master cyl.
basicly the same as you would bleed the front/rear brakes. pump pedal & hold while someone
loosen the brake line on the master cyl. after m/c is bleed move to r/r,l/r,r/f,l/f wheels in
that order. if you have abs brakes & you got air in the pump a scan tool may be needed
to bleed properly.

Caliper piston is sticking. Try pushing it all the way back to the bottom of its travel and then pump the brake pedal slowly and lightly until the piston has reached a point of contact with the pads.

I've not had much success with this method. Usually, if a piston sticks, you're better off to just replace the caliper.

Break pressure

Make sure you are trying to bleed the system in this order (Right rear, Left rear, Right front, Left front). If you are doing this and still not getting pressure, you should check the brake lines going to the rear for leaks. If you find a leak, replace that segment of line, bleed the system again and problem should be solved.
