Lets see if I can help you I have done this it's been a long time ago it was on a old model. I think there is bracket on the back of the radio that holds it in and serves as a ground take it off. Then you have to take the face plate cover off of dash be careful keep up with the screw clips.

My 2007 Mercury Malian Radio back light is out and comes in sometimes. The radio works good ,but I would like to see the radio channels again. How do I fix it? Thank you for your help!!!

This is a common issue with that model of radio, here is a video about the same radio and how it is fixed. Bear in mind the person shows how he removed his radio from an Explorer, so yours may come out of the dash differently and basically you can skip the first four minutes or more of the video and just see what needs repair:

Try Doctor Don's. He is an AC Delco expert who can repair a lot of AC Delco radios. He put some new amps into my Radio/CD player for my 1990 Cadillac Deville so it would play in my AC Delco Radio's place. He really knows what he is doing when it comes to radios.

www.doctordons.com is his website.

Good luck on this repair.

Lights not working on radio

you will need to send it out for repair, a dealer or a good repair shop will have a place to send your radio for repairs.

How do I fix a radio light that went out?

jackxlong: I wish I could give you an answer you would like, but it is the only one I know.
Unfortunately, Nissan has no service procedures for actual internal repairs to the radio. The only thing you can do is remove it and have it repaired at a shop which services audio equipment.
It is sometimes cheaper to buy a used unit from a salvage yard than it is the have your repaired. Often the minimum charge is more than what you can buy a used unit for.
Look into it before doing anything. Check with regular automotive audio shops, they may have "Take out" units they will sell cheap and/or be able to fix yours.
Good Luck.

Cd in car player will NOT eject -any ideas ??

The only way to fix your problem is to have a radio repair shop take it apart. You cannot fix this on your own. Remove the radio or get a quote from a repair shop first. If you cannot find a repair shop , talk to the parts guys at you local ford dealer about sending it out for repair.

04 Concorde Limiter CD Player removal

you just lift the bezel around the shifter then pull the bezel from around the radio the only screws are the 4 that hold the radio to the dash... you can buy an adapter kit so the replacement aftermarket radio will fit great in the opening if you were going to use aftermarket radio... you can get your fixed or exchanged by a company called united radio in ny
