1992 Buick Riviera

I just replaced the fan, sensors, thermostat, fuel filter, air filter and did a tune up. The car will run for about 30 minutes, once i turn it off, it will not start until it cools off. What could be the cause?

You need a new timing belt and gears. I had the same problem, the car would just shut off, I'd wait 15 minutes to cool down, and then it would start again.

Buick new technology for this year was to make gears af plastic ,and the teeth "melt" down. Your timing belt has nothing to grab onto. Once the gear is cool, the timing belt does not slip as much.

Where's the fuel filter located on a 1992 Buick Riviera ?

On some GM Buick's the fuel filter is actually located on the suspension inside the right front wheel...I asked a parts counter person about fuel filter location once...and their remark was "quality control was so poor back then...it could be anywhere"? Needless to say I was through with that guy:) wrong answer...Hope this helps.

unplug the cam sensor behind the water pump pulley; see if it starts; if it does, shut off engine; replace both cam and crank sensors because crank sensors go out in these engines

Stall's out when giving gas or back fire's . put full tune up on it & changed air mass flow sensor coil pack . mudgule fell filter

Was it doing this before you tuned it up, or is it possible you have some plug wires crossed? It could be a bad camshaft, flat lobe will make it backfire, usually backfires though the carburator.
