Question about 1996 Saab 900
Loosen the bolts for the alternator,then swing it inwards towards the engine,fit belt and swing out to tighten as you do up the bolts.1/2"play in the longest run of belt between pulleys.check alignment of pulleys,belts do not come off on there own.
