The blower fan in my 1999 ford escort has stopped working. It doesn't even work on high. Reading different boards I'm not sure where I should start looking...If its the fuse, which one and where is it...

your fuse box locations are in your owners manual. the lid or cover to th boxes usually tells you which fuse is for what. if the fuse is ok, then i would start with the blower motor resistor. this controls you blower speeds. it is located inside the car, under the dash, near the center or near the glovebox area. this link will show you what it looks like.

The heater fan just stopped...

Check fuse #14(10amp) located in fuse box under driver steering wheel behind the lower dash cover.
Check fuse#12(40amp) located in fuse box under hood.
Replace fuse(s) if any are blow.

If fuse are good.Check blower and transisto next.
Do steps 1-3 with turn key on
1. Unplug connector and check for 12v at the blue/white wire at the blower motor(2-NAT)
-if there's no voltage you might have a bad relay or open in the wire
-if there's about 12v, go to step 2
2.Plug connector for blower motor and unplug connector for blower transistor(4-NAT). Take a jumper wire and jump the blue/black wire to body ground.
-if blower does not run, replace blower motor
-if blower motor runs, go to step 3
3.check the black wire at(4-NAT) for good ground.
-if you have good ground, then replace blower motor transistor.
good luck

My 98 intrigue a/c and heater blower stopped blowing

This could be caused by a fuse being blown or the blower motor itself could be faulty. I would start by checking all your fuses which can be located under you drivers side dash and under the hood of your vehicle. If this does not rectify the problem you will need to replace or have the blower motor replaced. It's located under your passenger side dash usually behind the glove compartment in a plastic housing that must be removed before you can gain access to the blower motor itself.

2004 sierra, fan blower stopped, not the fuses. where is the fan blower switch and how do I replace

get a voltmeter; check for 12vdc at the blower motor with the blower turned on; if there is voltage, the blower motor is bad; should be located behind a panel underneath the dash on the passenger side; if the fan works on 1 or 2 speeds, it is probably the blower resistor located in the same area as the blower; u can check utube for details

The fan will only work on high. Wondering if

it most likely is the blower motor resistor
the control head controls the high fan setting while the resistor controls all other speeds-first check the wiring harness-it is located under the passenger dash and it easily damaged by passengers kicking it with their feet

95 lumina fan doesn't work

start by checking fuses....if good check check blower motor ..you can check by removing power wire from motor then with a wire hook up one end to battery ...+...postive....the other to blower motor ...if it comes on then your problem will be the blower motor relay or the switch in the dash.... ....the blower motor relay is located in fuse box under hood....hope this helps...

Blower motor for a 1997 acura tl

one of 2 places either under the dash behind the glove box or under the hood on the passengerside. first i would check the fuse and or fan motor relay. these are located in the box under the hood or under the dash on the drivers side. also i would check the reostat which controls the fan speed this is located near the motor and is held in place by 2 screws and has 2 wires hooked to it. one more thing to check is to make sure the switch is still good
