How to get the battery out

The battery in the 2003 Pontiac Montana is located in the engine compartment on the passenger's side just behind the headlight assembly. Changing the battery can be a little challenging because the Pontiac saw fit to bury it below several other parts in the van. The under-hood fuse box sits directly above the battery and a cross brace runs over the top of it as well. Dealing with both items is not complicated but does add time to the process. I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix, I had a remote starter installed a few years ago. it has always worked fine until this year. now it starts the car just fine but the car does not stay running. it stalls...

Maybe it's the anti-theft system an not the remote start . Is the SECURITY light lit on the instrument cluster ? GM anti-theft systems will disable the fuel injectors if there is a problem .

Im trying to install an after market radio in my 2003 Pontiac Vibe and I am experiencing no sound after the install. Do you know why that is? I have purchased 2 wiring harnesses for it and still no sound....

you are best off to use the factory harness and cut off the connector plug then use the wire diagram from Pontiac and the one from the radio manufacturer to crimp the wires together as u match the up. i myself never purchase the prewired harnesses for this issue u are having is all to common

2003 Pontiac Grand AM suddenly won't start and security light is flashing on the dash board. All systems are OK such as Battery new, fuel ok and ignition starting system ok. Looks like some anti-theft...

Check to see if you have a computer chip on your key. Chances are that the computer chip or the reader in the ignition keyhole is not reading it properly. If you leave the key on, engine off, for 15-20min. that security will reset and the light will go off. Turn key off and now try to start engine.
