Question about Mazda 929

1 Answer

I have just taken delivery of a mazda 5 sport nav and the I have the following issue

The sat nav screen says that a program is not responding contact a dealer, this is before even being able to load the sat nav software. As this part doesn't work, it prevents the reverse parking camera from working and won't allow cds to be loaded to the in dash cd player either!

Where can i get the latest sta nav cd's for europe and do they include fixed speed camera location?

Sat Nav software for Mazda 6 is available only from Navteq and SDAL. Unfortunately speed cameras are only available by Garmin (not supported by Mazda) and that is for UK only.

2004 BMW X5 4.4i Left lights on resulting in flat battery. Car was jump started from another vehicle (Ford Transit van). Everything fine for a few days. Now, intermittently the radio/sat nav goes haywire!...

sounds like your car has the multi function steering wheel, i know on the 7 and 5 series they come out of sync, im not sure why.
its about £75 to get plugged in at the dealers and they reprogram it, sometimes i have had the odd car with a damaged slip ring, it does all sorts of things, 1 in particular kept on beeping the horn,
i would say if u got 1 urs got upset when battery flat.

Programming Key Fob

I have just bought a Shogun Sport Equippe TD, I have not taken delivery yet but I do own a Carisma and the way you program that remote key is to turn on the ignition for 10 sec +'s then switch off and press the close button, this causes the door locks to respond.
