I HAVE 1992 CORVETTE LT1, I HAVE A SMALL OIL LEAK CAN'T FIND OUT WHERE IT'S COMING FROM. ITS MOTOR OIL. IS THERE SOMTHING I CAN DO TO FIND OUT EXACTLY WERE ITS COMING FROM.--OIL PAN BOLT WERE YOU CHANGE THE OIL IS TIGHT.--------HELP

Some advanced tech shops have a dye and a black light...they put the dye into the oil and have you run the car for a day or two then have you return to the shop at the return visit they raise the vehicle on a lift and using the black light attempt to trace down the annoying oil leak.
This is about the best way to find this sort of leak.

    plug ur finger over the pvc valve the pressure from the crank case sholud make the oil leak shown first clean the engine and do this as the motor is running

The wiring harness will be completely different as well as the engine mounting locations. The computer will also need to be from an LT1 Camaro.

Noisey engine when hot, sounds like lifters?? only has 52000 miles\r\n 1992 corvette lt1


Try using the additive called lucas oil treatment,with your oil change,wear can cause this,and the lucas will lube better,and cause the lifters to fill up easy.

bang the starter with a hammer, the solenoid may be sticking, if it works get a new starter, if it doesn't check the connections at the starter

You have to remove the door lock knob to get to the screw. Make sure door is unlocked,then you take an pull the knob outward til pops off.Then you should be able to remove the screw.
