/Agree with Dubeone more than likely it is the idler pulleys or the tensioner, but also could be the supercharger pulley. these should not have any play in them. Depending on mileage and how the supercharger was maintained, it may need rebuilding. the impeller shaft bearings may be worn out causing it not to run true during RPM increases or decreases. Hopes this helps ~ Zach

These cars have a lot of problems with all the idler pulleys and the tensioner. You will most likely have to replace them. You may also want to check the harmonic balancer and make sure it is running true.Spin the supercharger by hand with the belt off,it should spin freely with no end play in the shaft to speak of.I hope this helps...Dan

How do I remove the altinator belt and replace the supercharger with a new one? just so you guys know... MINE IS DONE FOR NOSE BROKE AND BEARING CAME OUT AND ITS SEIZED. PLUS PULLEY BROKE IN HALF.

Sorry to hear that. Few people know the supercharger has its own oil. It needs to be checked and refilled as the car ages.
There is a spring loaded belt tensioning device....you need a socket that fits the bolt (some have a square hole for a 1/2 breaker bar) you take the tension off the belt and slip the belt off the most convenient pulley.

Just replaced the supercharger belt I am trying to release the tension to get it around the supercharger pulley. How do I release the tension of the belt?

There are 2 sepentine belts on your vehicle. You must use a wrench to turn the belt tensioners. Usually a breaker-bar works well.

The tensioner for the outer belt is below the power steering pump and is easier to get to with the vehicle jacked up and the wheel and plastic splash-shield removed. The tensioner for the inner belt (the one for the supercharger) is located between the alternator and the supercharger. (see picture)

Would replacing a power steering pump in a 2002 Grand Prix GTP Supercharger cause the SuperCharger belt to break.

No.

The supercharger belt is on the main drive, the water pump is on the accessory drive. Provided that they are both properly installed of course.
