Most likely it is a sensor behind the front bumper. Sometimes if you can get to them and spray them with WD40 they will behave. It can also mean the pressure pak is bad on the Airbag and that it will never deploy. These things make me nervous. On this item you are better off with a Body shop looking at it if WD40 does not help.
A Body shop is better because they replace Airbags that were deployed in the cars they are repairing. The Body shop also replaces the sensors damaged in a wreck. Mainline mechanics generally work in a separate area of a Dealership and the Body shop guys work in their own area.
