Question about 2006 Pontiac G5

2 Answers

How do I get an operators manual that usually comes with a car when you buy one and should be in the glove compartment? We bought a 2006 Pontiac G5 Pursuit and it came with no manual for us to refer to when we need help on how to work it? I look forward in hearing from you in the not too distant future. Sincerely, Adelheid

Sorry to hear that. I purchased a used car without a manual. I purchased a manual on Ebay. If you prefer a GM dealer can order you one.

How to replace heater blower on 2008 pontiac g5

Look under dash of passenger side floor area or open glove compartment and move the clips. It should be in this area. there will be 4 or 5 screws (bolts) 7 or 8 mm holding the blower motor in place.
It's likely that its a bad connection in this area or something inside blocking the motor from turning so prior to buying a new heater remove the existing one and wiggle the wires connecting it. Sometimes you give it a boot and it will start up which is just a loose connection. The wires could be burnt here indicating a loose connection there or too much resistance in the blower motor perhaps.

This is a fairly common problem on GM vehicles and is usually caused by a bad wheel speed sensor or dirt on the sensor. If your mechanic can't fix it, time to find a more competent mechanic. It's not rocket science

My cigarette lighter stopped working in 2006 six grand prix and i can't find the fuse thats might be messed up

Hi morris55555,

This problem is usually not hard to fix. The lighter runs with a 'blade fuse' which is usually found under the drivers steering wheel (or under the front passengers compartment box). There should be a small outline of a compartment where you will see some labellings of a fuse system. It will label the fuse for the cigarette lighter, where you will need a tweezer like object to pull it out. When you have it, go to any electrical or lumber and hardware store and replace!.

Good Luck,

Where is the fuse box in the 2006 pontiac G5 (pursuit). my wipers went out on me and i think thats where the problem is...but i dont have a manual and i dont know where the fuse box is located thankyou

It is either under the hood, on the passenger side. Its located in a black box that has either a lightning bolt on it, or says fuses. the box is near the battery if that helps. or It is in the fuse box - located on the left side of the dash board.

Vibration in my 2006 sonatla glove compartment

Simple Solution: Sell your Foreign Car and Buy an American Car to help put America Back To Work. What do you expect from Korea? American Quality? Your not going to get it unless you buy an American Car. Actually, your problem lies in the dashboard with something loose bumping into the Glove Box or something in that area, Examine for loose brackets or other things which may have come loose. A Flashlight and a good Mechanics Mirror will quickly spot loose objects that may be causing the vibration.
