If you rebuilt the motor and put new rings in the motor may smoke a little until the rings seat and also if it smoked before the exhaust system will have left over oil or coolant depending on what was burning, give about 500miles,

My toyota 1n ended up with clean dipstick after 2000 km no oil leaks underneath and no white smoke from the exhaust what could be the problem

have you done anything to the engine ( rebuild with new rings etc). The oil has to go somewhere and the only place is out the exhaust as blue the vehicle on a hoist and check under the floor pan area for signs of oil on the metal under the car as there may be an oil leak that is squirting out into the air stream under the car.

Recently had my 2003 VW golf serviced (engine flush & oil change). It was running well before the service but on the way home after the service it began blowing white oily smoke everywhere. We took...

I had a similar experience with a 1970 Plymouth Duster, at 10 years old (1980) I flushed the engine and started running a little bit higher detergent oil and it also started smoking as you described, turned out with the engine as clean as it got the clearances of different internal oil retaining parts such as valve guides and piston rings were slightly bigger causing my engine to smoke,

I've been told by my trusted neighborhood mechanic that my '95 Isuzu Trooper LS (3.2 L) has a warped head gasket (has been running low on oil- now runs very rough & spews out blue smoke from...

Blue smoke is oil burning, white steam/smoke is coolant burning, it will be a sweet smell.
You have a choice, repair the head gasket (if there is coolant in the oil, the bottom end needs rebuilt also) which is around,$300-$1000 depends if a garage or you do it, the problem with doing a head gasket is there is no garantee, if you replace the engine with a used engine you have a 90 day/ 1 year warantee, your choice. about the same cost.

I was told that i might have a blown head gasket. There is no coolent and oil mixture in the engine. There is a little white smoke but mostly a light blue from the leaking rear main. Also i was told that...

plugs in modern engine last the life of the motor
you will not get smoke from a rear main as it will be a full on oil leak as for the head gasket comment
take it to an accredited service center and have a compression test done
from your statement , It would appear that you are not getting the correct advice

My isuzu 4JA1 engine tends to exhaust white smoke

White smoke means that you have a coolant leak. Two possible causes for that - either the head gasket is punctured and must be replaced or the head itself is damaged and must be welded by an expert.
Either way the engine must be dismantled to make a full diagnose and repair.

White smoke coming from the muffler, loud noise...

One potential cause is too much gas. It may be running "rich". Your car may also be burning a little oil. White smoke is water or antifreeze. If you are loosing coolant from the radiator, it's probably a blown head gasket. If not, it is just condensation in the exhaust pipe that is evaporating as the pipes heat up. If the car is running too rich, the unburned gas will cause black smoke and burning oil smoke will be blue.

Hope helps (remember rated this).
